B.J. Armstrong Autographs
B.J. Armstrong is a retired professional basketball player who played in the NBA for 11 seasons. He was born on September 9, 1967, in Detroit, Michigan. Armstrong grew up in Chicago and attended Brother Rice High School, where he played basketball under legendary coach Gene Pingatore. He later attended the University of Iowa, where he earned All-American honors in the 1988-1989 season.
Armstrong's professional career began in 1989 when he was selected 18th overall by the Chicago Bulls in the NBA draft. As a rookie, he spent much of his time on the bench but still managed to contribute to the team's success. In his second season, he became a key player off the bench and helped the Bulls win their first NBA championship. Armstrong went on to play a crucial role in the Bulls' second, third, and fourth championships in 1992, 1993, and 1996, respectively. He was also named an All-Star in the 1993-1994 season, averaging 14.8 points and 4.2 assists per game. Armstrong later played for the Charlotte Hornets, the Golden State Warriors, and the Orlando Magic before retiring in 2000.
After retiring, Armstrong became a sports agent and spent several years representing NBA players, including Derrick Rose and Draymond Green. He also served as an NBA analyst for various media outlets, including ESPN, and worked as a radio host for SiriusXM NBA Radio. Today, Armstrong is the general manager of the NBA's G League team, the Windy City Bulls, and is also a member of the USA Basketball Men's Selection Committee.
