Manziel declared for the NFL draft after his sophomore season in 2013. The Cleveland Browns selected him with the 22nd overall pick in the first round. Manziel struggled in his two seasons with the Browns, appearing in 15 games and throwing for just 1,675 yards with seven touchdowns and seven interceptions. He also had several off-field incidents and battled addiction issues during his time in the NFL. He attempted a comeback in the Canadian Football League, but was eventually released due to his inability to meet the requirements of his contract.
