Adam Morrison Autographs
Adam Morrison is a retired American basketball player, best known for his successful stint with the Gonzaga Bulldogs in college basketball. Born on July 19, 1984, in Glendive, Montana, Morrison grew up in Spokane, Washington. He attended Mead High School in Spokane, where he played high school basketball and became a standout player in the state of Washington. Morrison was named the Washington state player of the year and the Gatorade player of the year in 2003.
In 2003, Morrison enrolled in Gonzaga University and joined the Bulldogs basketball team. He quickly became the star player of the team, leading Gonzaga to back-to-back West Coast Conference championships in 2004 and 2005. During the 2005-2006 season, Morrison led the nation in scoring, averaging 28.1 points per game. He was named the WCC player of the year twice and was a consensus first-team All-American in 2006. Morrison also helped Gonzaga reach the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA tournament in 2005 and the Elite Eight in 2006. He left Gonzaga after his junior year and was drafted third overall by the Charlotte Bobcats in the 2006 NBA draft.
Morrison's professional career was not as successful as his college career. He played for the Charlotte Bobcats, the Los Angeles Lakers, and had brief stints with the Washington Wizards and the Dallas Mavericks. Morrison suffered a serious knee injury in 2007, which derailed his career. He retired from professional basketball in 2012 and now serves as a college basketball analyst for ESPN. Despite his relatively short professional career, Morrison will always be remembered as one of the best college basketball players of his time, and his legacy at Gonzaga will never be forgotten.
