Andy Pettitte is a former left-handed pitcher who had a successful 18-year career in Major League Baseball. He was born on June 15, 1972, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Pettitte played college baseball for San Jacinto College in Texas before being drafted by the New York Yankees in 1990.
