Bob Forsch was a former Major League Baseball pitcher who was born on January 13, 1950, in Sacramento, California. After attending Hiram Johnson High School in Sacramento, Forsch signed with the St. Louis Cardinals as an amateur free agent in 1968. Forsch spent the majority of his career with the St. Louis Cardinals from 1974 to 1988. He pitched in 386 games and recorded 1,079 strikeouts during his time with the Cardinals.
