Bob Moorhead was a professional baseball player who spent six years in the major league from 1962 until 1967. Born on November 16, 1938, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Moorhead was a right-handed pitcher who played for the New York Mets, Cincinnati Reds, and Atlanta Braves. He made his major league debut with the Mets in 1962, where he spent three years with the team. Despite having a relatively brief career in the major leagues, Moorhead made a substantial impact during his time on the field. His performance during the season earned him a spot on the National League All-Star team, where he pitched a scoreless inning in the game.
