Brandon Moss Autographs
Brandon Douglas Moss is a former American professional baseball player who was born on September 16, 1983, in Monroe, Louisiana. He was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the eighth round of the 2002 Major League Baseball Draft. Moss played a variety of positions over the course of his career, including first base, outfield, and designated hitter.
Moss made his MLB debut with the Red Sox in 2007. However, he was not a regular starter and was subsequently traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2008. Moss continued to play for several teams throughout his career, including the Oakland Athletics, Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Cardinals, and the Kansas City Royals. In 2014, Moss set a career-high with 30 home runs, and he also had a career-best .255 batting average. Moss played his last season in 2018, retiring with a career batting average of .237, with 160 home runs and 473 RBI.
Throughout his career, Moss was known for his power-hitting ability, which he displayed during his best season in 2014. Moss was also known for his versatility, playing multiple positions for different teams throughout his career, including first base, outfield, and designated hitter. Despite his success, Moss struggled with injuries in his final years in the MLB, ultimately leading to his retirement in November 2018. Moss will always be remembered as a talented and versatile player who had a profound impact on the teams he played for.
