Brandon Tyler Webb, born on May 9, 1979, is a retired American professional baseball pitcher. Born in Ashland, Kentucky, Brandon started playing baseball at an early age and attended high school in Kentucky. Webb was later recruited to play college baseball at the University of Kentucky, where he excelled as a pitcher. Webb made his major league debut on April 22, 2003, playing for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He was initially used as a reliever and setup man. However, in 2004, he started as a pitcher, and he made a significant impact by helping the Diamondbacks win their division. He continued to have a successful career, winning National League Cy Young Award in 2006, and becoming a three-time All-Star.
