Brent Lillibridge is a former American professional baseball utility player who played for eight seasons in the Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born in Everett, Washington, on September 18, 1983, and grew up in Northridge, California. Lillibridge attended the University of Washington where he played college baseball for the Huskies as a shortstop. In 2005, he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates, but he did not sign with them and returned to college to play his senior season. Lillibridge made his major league debut with the Atlanta Braves in 2008 and played for them for two seasons. He was traded to the Chicago White Sox in 2010 and had his best season, batting .258 with 10 home runs and 24 RBIs in 59 games. Lillibridge played for several other teams including the Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees, and Texas Rangers before retiring from baseball in 2016.
