Brett Gardner is an American professional baseball outfielder who has been a dedicated member of the New York Yankees for over a decade. He was born on August 24, 1983, in Holly Hill, South Carolina, and was drafted in the third round of the 2005 Major League Baseball (MLB) draft by the New York Yankees. Gardner made his major league debut in 2008 and quickly became known for his exceptional speed, athleticism, and defensive abilities. Throughout his career, he has played all three outfield positions, but primarily patrols center field for the Yankees.
