Brian Matusz is a former professional baseball player born on February 11, 1987, in Grand Junction, Colorado. He attended the University of San Diego, where he played college baseball as a left-handed pitcher for the Toreros. Matusz made his MLB debut in August 2009 and spent most of the next seven seasons with the Orioles.
