Carlos Lee is a former Major League Baseball outfielder and first baseman who played for teams such as the Chicago White Sox, the Milwaukee Brewers, the Texas Rangers, the Houston Astros, and the Miami Marlins. Born in Aguadulce, Panama, in 1976, Lee began his professional baseball career in his home country with the Piratas de Los Santos of the Panamanian Professional Baseball League. In 1994, at the age of 18, he signed with the White Sox as an undrafted free agent and worked his way up through their minor league system before making his debut with the team in 1999.
