During his time in the MLB, Wang played for the New York Yankees, Washington Nationals, and the Toronto Blue Jays. He had a standout year in 2006 when he won 19 games and helped lead the Yankees to the playoffs. However, he suffered a foot injury in 2008, which derailed his career and prevented him from returning to his previous form. Despite this setback, Wang continued to work hard and was able to make a comeback in the MLB, but he was never able to fully regain his former dominance on the field.

After his MLB career ended, Wang returned to Taiwan and played for the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) for three seasons. He retired in 2019 and is considered one of the best pitchers in Taiwanese baseball history. Wang's impressive career in the MLB and the CPBL has made him a beloved figure in Taiwan and one of the country's most successful sports icons. Read even more about Chien-Ming Wang at Wikipedia
