Chris Lambert is a former professional baseball pitcher born on March 8th, 1983, in Sacramento, California. He attended the Boston College where he played college baseball for three seasons and was then drafted in the first round (19th overall) by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2004 Major League Baseball Draft.
Lambert made his major league debut on August 18th, 2008, for the Detroit Tigers, where he pitched a complete game in his first start, allowing only one run on five hits. He played for the Tigers for two seasons before being traded to the Baltimore Orioles in 2010. However, he never appeared in a major league game for the Orioles and was released in 2011. He then signed a minor league contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2012 but was released later that year.
Overall, Chris Lambert's baseball career was relatively short-lived, but he made a significant impact during his time in the major leagues. His complete game in his debut was a remarkable achievement, and he showed great potential early in his career. Though his playing days are over, he has found success in his post-baseball career and continues to stay connected to the sport through his podcast and work with athletes.
