In 2003, Ross was drafted by the Detroit Tigers, but he spent most of his early career bouncing around the minor leagues. It wasn't until 2006 that he got his first taste of major league action, playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Over the next several years, Ross would play for a number of different teams, including the Florida Marlins, San Francisco Giants, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Boston Red Sox. During this time, he became known for his powerful swing and his ability to come up with clutch hits in important games.

One of the highlights of Ross's career came in 2010 when he helped lead the Giants to the World Series. In the playoffs that year, he hit five home runs and had 10 RBI, earning him the distinction of being named the Most Valuable Player of the National League Championship Series. Though he retired from playing professional baseball in 2015, Cody Ross remains an iconic figure in the sport and a beloved player among fans. Read even more about Cody Ross at Wikipedia
