Corky Miller was born on March 18, 1976, in Greenwood, South Carolina. He is a former American professional baseball catcher who played in the Major League Baseball (MLB) for 11 seasons. He was drafted in the 23rd round by the Milwaukee Brewers in 1994 but did not sign. In 1997, he was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 23rd round and made his MLB debut on June 20, 2001. Miller played for seven different MLB teams, but he is best remembered for his time with the Cincinnati Reds. He served as a backup catcher for the Reds from 2001 to 2004 and again in 2009, playing in a total of 216 games for the team. He was known for his solid defensive skills and his ability to work well with pitchers. Throughout his career, Miller caught several no-hitters, including one thrown by Cincinnati's Homer Bailey in 2013.

After his playing career, Miller became a minor league coach and manager. He currently serves as the manager of the Dayton Dragons, a minor league affiliate of the Reds. Miller is highly respected in the baseball community for his knowledge of the game and his ability to develop young players.
