Corky Miller was born on March 18, 1976, in Greenwood, South Carolina. He is a former American professional baseball catcher who played in the Major League Baseball (MLB) for 11 seasons. He was drafted in the 23rd round by the Milwaukee Brewers in 1994 but did not sign. In 1997, he was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 23rd round and made his MLB debut on June 20, 2001. Miller played for seven different MLB teams, but he is best remembered for his time with the Cincinnati Reds. He served as a backup catcher for the Reds from 2001 to 2004 and again in 2009, playing in a total of 216 games for the team.
