Curtis Granderson is a former professional baseball player who spent 16 seasons playing in the Major Leagues. Granderson was born on March 16, 1981, in Blue Island, Illinois. He attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he played college baseball and was named a First-Team All-American.
