Danny Valencia is a former professional baseball player who played in the Major League Baseball (MLB) for over a decade. He was born on September 19, 1984, in Miami, Florida, and attended the University of Miami, where he played for the Miami Hurricanes baseball team. Valencia made his MLB debut with the Twins in 2010, and he played with them until 2012, where he was traded to the Boston Red Sox. He also played for the Baltimore Orioles, Kansas City Royals, Oakland Athletics, Toronto Blue Jays, and Seattle Mariners. Valencia was primarily a third baseman and a designated hitter during his career. He had a career batting average of .268 with 96 home runs and 362 RBI.
