Don Larsen Autographs

Don LarsenDon Larsen is a former American professional baseball pitcher, who played for various teams in his career. Larsen was born in Michigan and raised in California where he developed a passion for baseball. He began his professional baseball career in 1947, playing for the St. Louis Browns at age 17. He continued to play for several teams, including the New York Yankees, Kansas City Athletics, and Houston Astros throughout his career.
Larsen is most well-known for his legendary performance in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series, where he pitched a perfect game for the New York Yankees against the Brooklyn Dodgers. This remarkable feat has only been accomplished by 23 pitchers in Major League Baseball history. Larsen's performance in this game resulted in him being awarded the World Series Most Valuable Player, as he led the Yankees to their fifth World Series championship.
Over his career, Larsen was known for his impeccable control and incredible pitching ability. He was a two-time All-Star and won two World Series titles during his time with the Yankees. Larsen's contribution to the game of baseball was recognized in 2012, when his perfect game uniform was sold at auction for over $750,000. Don Larsen remains one of the most iconic pitchers in the history of baseball and his legacy will continue to be celebrated for years to come.
