Don Sutton was an American professional baseball pitcher, born on April 2, 1945, in Clio, Alabama. He played for several major league teams during his career, including the Los Angeles Dodgers, Houston Astros, Milwaukee Brewers, Oakland Athletics, and California Angels. Sutton was one of the most consistent pitchers of his era, and he managed to win at least ten games in twenty seasons. He also led his team in strikeouts in nine separate seasons. Sutton was primarily known for his durability and control during his tenure as a pitcher. He maintained exceptional control over his pitches, and he could change speeds effortlessly.
