Little went on to become a coach for the Cleveland Indians, Atlanta Braves, and Boston Red Sox. In 2002, he was appointed as the manager of the Boston Red Sox. Little's tenure as a manager was highlighted by a memorable game in the American League Championship Series against the New York Yankees.
