Harry Kalas Autograph

Harry Kalas was an iconic baseball broadcaster who became one of the most recognizable voices of Philadelphia Phillies baseball. Born in 1936 in Naperville, Illinois, Kalas grew up with an early interest in performance and public speaking. After graduating from the University of Iowa, he began his broadcasting career as a sports reporter for WICC in Bridgeport, Connecticut. In 1965, Kalas joined the Phillies broadcasting team, and over the next four decades, he became the voice of the team.
