Hector Lopez was a Panamanian baseball player who made a name for himself in the Major League Baseball (MLB) during the 1950s and 1960s. Born on July 9, 1929, in Chiriquí, Panama, Lopez started playing professional baseball in 1948, with the Panama Canal Zone League.
