Hensley Meulens, popularly known as "Bam Bam," was born in 1967 in Willemstad, Curacao, and he began his baseball career at a tender age. He went on to become one of the most remarkable baseball players to come out of the Caribbean. Bam Bam made his Major League Baseball debut in 1989 with the New York Yankees and played five seasons with the team before joining the Montreal Expos in 1993. He later spent time with the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Hanshin Tigers in Japan, and the Newark Bears before ultimately retiring in 2002. More about Hensley Meulens
