Jason Vargas Autographs

Jason VargasJason Vargas is a former American professional baseball pitcher, who played in the Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on February 2, 1983, in Apple Valley, California, and attended Apple Valley High School. Vargas went on to play college baseball at Long Beach State. After being drafted by the Florida Marlins in 2004, Vargas made his MLB debut with the team in 2005.
Throughout his career, Vargas played for several MLB teams, including the Seattle Mariners, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Angels, New York Mets, and Philadelphia Phillies. He was particularly successful with the Royals, where he earned an All-Star Game selection in 2017. In 2014, Vargas underwent Tommy John surgery, which forced him to miss most of the season. However, he bounced back and continued to pitch until his retirement in 2021.
Overall, Vargas finished his career with a record of 99-95, an ERA of 4.26, and 1,262 strikeouts. He was known for his effective changeup, which he used to keep hitters off balance. Throughout his career, Vargas was respected by his teammates and coaches for his work ethic and leadership on and off the field. Despite facing career setbacks, Vargas persevered and left a positive mark on the MLB.
