Jeff Manship Autographs
Jeff Manship is a former professional baseball player, who was born on January 16, 1985, in San Antonio, Texas, United States. He was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 14th round of the 2006 Major League Baseball Draft after attending the University of Notre Dame. Jeff started his professional career with the Gulf Coast Twins in 2006, and after three seasons of development, he made his major league debut on May 22, 2009. He played for the Twins from 2009 till 2012 before moving to the Colorado Rockies, Philadelphia Phillies, and Cleveland Indians.
During his major league career, Jeff Manship was known as a reliable relief pitcher who could pitch for long innings if required. He threw fastballs, curveballs, and changeups with excellent command and control, and his ability to throw strikes consistently made him a valuable asset for any team. In 2014, with the Phillies, Jeff recorded his first major league win after pitching 2 1⁄3 scoreless innings in a 9–8 win against the Washington Nationals. Throughout his career, Jeff had 205 strikeouts, and he maintained an earned run average of 7.46.
After the 2017 season, Jeff Manship became a free agent and decided to retire from professional baseball. He had a successful career, and his dedication and hard work in the game earned him the respect of his peers and fans. Today, Jeff remains engaged with the baseball community, and he often participates in baseball clinics and events to help the next generation of players.
