Joey Meyer is a former professional baseball player who was born on August 19, 1962, in San Diego, California. He played as a first baseman and outfielder in the Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Milwaukee Brewers and Toronto Blue Jays from 1988 to 1990. Joey Meyer's professional baseball career began in 1983 when he was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the sixth round. He played in the minor leagues for several years before making his MLB debut in 1988. During his time with the Brewers, Meyer hit 10 home runs in 117 at-bats and maintained a batting average of .249. In 1990, Joey Meyer was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays, where he played for one season. During his time with the Blue Jays, Meyer had a batting average of .188 and hit two home runs in 32 games. After his stint with the Blue Jays, Joey Meyer returned to the minor leagues and played for several more years before retiring from professional baseball in 1995. Throughout his career, Joey Meyer was known for his powerful hitting and ability to hit home runs.

After retiring from baseball, Joey Meyer remained involved in the sport as a coach and manager. He coached in the minor leagues for several years and was the hitting coach for the San Diego Padres from 2000 to 2002. In 2003, Meyer became the manager of the Fort Wayne Wizards, a minor league team affiliated with the San Diego Padres. He managed the team for two seasons before leaving to become the manager of the Lancaster JetHawks, a minor league team affiliated with the Arizona Diamondbacks. Joey Meyer's contributions to the sport of baseball have made him a well-respected figure in the baseball community.
