During his career, Santana was a two-time Cy Young Award winner and a four-time All-Star. He is best known for his time with the Minnesota Twins, where he played from 2000 to 2007. During his tenure with the Twins, Santana won two Cy Young Awards, led the American League in strikeouts three times, and helped the team make it to the playoffs four times. In addition to his success with the Twins, Santana also had a successful stint with the New York Mets, where he threw the first and only no-hitter in Mets history in 2012.

Despite his success, Santana's baseball career was plagued by injuries. He missed the entire 2011 season due to shoulder surgery and struggled to stay healthy during his time with the Mets and Orioles. Santana eventually retired from baseball in 2014, citing his desire to spend more time with his family and address his ongoing health issues. Today, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest pitchers of his generation and a beloved figure in the world of baseball. Read even more about Johan Santana at Wikipedia
