Kyle Muller was born on October 7, 1997, in Dallas, Texas. He is a left-handed pitcher currently playing for the Atlanta Braves in Major League Baseball (MLB). Muller went to Jesuit College Preparatory School in Dallas, where he played high school baseball. During his senior year, Muller went 8-0 with a 0.46 ERA and 133 strikeouts, leading his team to the state championship game.
In 2016, Kyle Muller was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the second round of the MLB draft, with the 44th overall pick. He started his professional career in 2017 and played in Rookie League and Single-A levels. After posting strong numbers in the minor leagues, he was promoted to Triple-A in 2021. In his MLB debut on June 18, 2021, Muller pitched five innings and earned his first win against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Before joining the Braves, Muller represented Team USA in international competitions. He was part of the 18U USA Baseball Tournament of Stars and the 2015 Pan American Games. Moreover, Muller was also a top college prospect and committed to play for the University of Texas. Nonetheless, he chose to sign with the Braves instead of attending college. Muller’s talent, hard work, and determination have helped him to become a rising star in baseball, and his future in the MLB looks promising.
