Manny Machado Autographs
Manny Machado is a professional baseball player from Hialeah, Florida, who was born on July 6, 1992. He started his baseball career at just five years old, playing for his hometown’s youth team. Machado was quickly recognized for his skills as a skilled fielder and hitter, which led him to be drafted third overall in the 2010 MLB Draft by the Baltimore Orioles. At the age of 20, he made his MLB debut in August 2012, and he quickly became one of the most exciting young players in baseball.
Since his debut, Manny Machado has become one of the best third baseman in baseball. Machado "has a gifted baseball IQ and a confident swagger on the field that matches his abilities," he earned three Gold Gloves and four All-Star Game selections during his six seasons with the Orioles. He was also a two-time winner of the Platinum Glove Award, which is presented to the best defender in the league. In 2018, Machado was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers mid-season, and he helped them reach the World Series that year. His excellent performances throughout his career earned him a 10-year, $300 million contract with the San Diego Padres in 2019, which marked a new high for baseball salaries.
In addition to his success in the field, Machado is also known for his charitable work. In 2018, he was named Baltimore Sports man of the Year for his generosity with the Manny Machado Family Foundation. The foundation aims to improve the lives of children and families in the Baltimore area, where he spent much of his professional career.
