Matt Lindstrom was born on February 11, 1980, in Rexburg, Idaho. Lindstrom attended Ricks College where he played baseball for two seasons before transferring to Brigham Young University (BYU) to finish his college baseball career. In 2002, he was drafted by the New York Mets in the 10th round of the MLB draft. Lindstrom began his minor league career in the Mets organization and quickly became known for his fastball, which could reach speeds up to 100mph. More about Matt Lindstrom

In 2015, Lindstrom returned to BYU to finish his degree and assist with coaching the baseball team. Throughout his career, Lindstrom was known for his strong work ethic and consistency on the mound. Although he retired from baseball in 2018, Lindstrom's contributions to the game will not be forgotten, and his success in the Major Leagues will be remembered by fans for years to come.
