Matt Macri Autographs
Matt Macri is a former professional baseball player who was born on May 29, 1982, in Clive, Iowa. He played college baseball at the University of Notre Dame, where he was a standout shortstop. Macri's exceptional play earned him numerous accolades, including the Big East Conference Player of the Year award in 2004.
After his stellar career at Notre Dame, Macri was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the fifth round of the 2004 Major League Baseball Draft. He played in the Rockies' minor league system for several years before making his MLB debut on August 31, 2008. Macri played in nine games with the Rockies that season and had one hit in 10 at-bats. He also had a brief stint in the major leagues with the Minnesota Twins in 2009.
Macri ended his professional baseball career in 2012 after playing in the minor leagues for various teams, including the Philadelphia Phillies and the Toronto Blue Jays. Despite not having a long and illustrious career in the major leagues, Matt Macri's impressive college career and perseverance through the minor leagues have made him a respected figure in the baseball community.
