He was born on June 18, 1989, and started his baseball career in 2007 when he was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the eighth round of the MLB draft. Moore began his professional career with the Arizona League Rangers, and after a season, he was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays in 2008.
Moore made his major league debut with the Tampa Bay Rays on September 14, 2011, and was an instant sensation.
