Max Muncy is an American professional baseball player who plays first base, second base and third base for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was born on August 25, 1990, in Midland, Texas. Muncy started playing baseball as a kid and was a standout youth baseball and high school baseball player. Muncy was drafted in 2012 by the Oakland Athletics in the fifth round of the Major League Baseball Draft. He made his debut with the Athletics in 2015 as a utility infielder. However, Muncy struggled in his time with the Athletics, and was eventually released by the team.
