Miles Mikolas is an American professional baseball pitcher who is currently playing for the St. Louis Cardinals in the Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on August 23, 1988, in Jupiter, Florida. Mikolas attended Division III Nova Southeastern University, where he played college baseball for the Nova Southeastern Sharks. He was drafted in the seventh round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft by the San Diego Padres. He made his professional debut for the Padres in 2012 but struggled in his rookie season. After spending a few years in the minor leagues, Mikolas was released by the Padres in 2014.
