Rocky Colavito was an American professional baseball player born in New York on August 10, 1933. He began his baseball career in the minor leagues in 1951, playing for the Jamestown Falcons. In 1955, Colavito made his major league debut with the Cleveland Indians. During his time with the Indians, Colavito became one of the most feared right-handed hitters in the league. He was known for his tremendous power and was a consistent All-Star, playing in six All-Star Games between 1959 and 1966.
