Halladay made his major league debut for the Toronto Blue Jays in 1998, where he spent the first 11 years of his career. He quickly established himself as one of the top pitchers in the game, with his pinpoint control and devastating sinker. In 2003, he became the youngest pitcher in Blue Jays history to throw a perfect game, and in 2010, he threw the second no-hitter in postseason history for the Philadelphia Phillies. Halladay was known for his tenacious work ethic and his unwavering determination to improve himself as a pitcher.

Sadly, Halladay's career was cut short when he died in a plane crash in November 2017. Despite this heartbreaking loss, his legacy lives on as one of the greatest pitchers to ever play the game. In 2019, he was posthumously inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, cementing his place in baseball history. Halladay will always be remembered as a fierce competitor and a true ambassador of the game of baseball. Read even more about Roy Halladay at Wikipedia
