Salvador Perez is a Venezuelan professional baseball player born on May 10, 1990, in Valencia, Venezuela. He made his debut in Major League Baseball (MLB) on August 10, 2011, at the age of 21, for the Kansas City Royals. Perez made an immediate impact for the Royals, and he quickly became a fan favorite due to his impressive defense and powerful arm behind the plate. In 2013, he helped the Royals clinch a spot in the playoffs, and in 2015, he played a significant role in helping the team win their first World Series since 1985.
