In 2009, Strasburg was drafted first overall by the Washington Nationals in the MLB Draft. He quickly made an impact in the majors, starting his career off with a 14-strikeout debut game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Strasburg continued to excel, becoming a two-time All-Star in 2012 and 2016. In 2019, he helped lead the Nationals to their first World Series championship, receiving the World Series MVP award.

Throughout his career, Strasburg has been known for his electric fastball and devastating changeup. His consistent dominance on the mound has earned him the respect of his teammates and opponents alike.
