Tom Brunansky was born on August 20, 1960 in Covina, California. He was a professional baseball player who played as an outfielder in the Major League Baseball (MLB) for 14 seasons. He made his MLB debut in 1981 with the California Angels and quickly became a key player for the team. In 1982, he was named American League Rookie of the Year after hitting 20 home runs and driving in 74 runs. He played for the Angels for four seasons before being traded to the Minnesota Twins in 1985. Brunansky played for the Twins for six seasons and was a part of the team’s World Series championship in 1987. He also played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Boston Red Sox before retiring in 1994.
