Torii Hunter is a former professional baseball player who spent 19 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB). Born on July 18, 1975, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Hunter's baseball career began at Pine Bluff High School where he played as a center fielder. After leaving the Twins, Hunter played four seasons with the Los Angeles Angels, one season with the Detroit Tigers, and one season with the Minnesota Twins. During his career, he hit 353 home runs, drove in 1,391 runs, and batted .277. He also won two Silver Slugger awards, which are given to the best offensive players at each position in each league. Throughout his career, Hunter was known for his leadership, professionalism, and work ethic.
