Will Venable Autographs

Will VenableWill Venable is a former professional baseball player who played for the San Diego Padres and Texas Rangers. He was born on October 29, 1982, in Greenbrae, California, and attended Princeton University. Venable was a standout athlete in both baseball and basketball in college, earning All-Ivy honors in both sports.
After being drafted by the Padres in the 7th round of the 2005 MLB draft, Venable quickly worked his way up through their minor league system. He made his major league debut on August 29, 2008, and played for the Padres until 2015. Venable was known for his versatility, playing all three outfield positions and even filling in at first base. He was also a threat on the basepaths, stealing a career-high 29 bases in 2013. In his career with the Padres, Venable had a .252 batting average with 81 home runs and 307 RBIs.
After departing the Padres, Venable played for the Texas Rangers in 2015 and then briefly for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2016 before retiring from baseball. Following his playing career, Venable joined the Chicago Cubs organization as a special assistant to their baseball operations department. Venable's legacy in the baseball world is one of hard work, versatility, and athleticism, as he was able to make an impact in multiple facets of the game throughout his career.
