Michael Redd was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1979. He attended West High school in Columbus and became one of the most successful high school basketball players in the state. Redd's talent allowed him to earn a scholarship to play basketball at Ohio State University, where he played three years before entering the NBA draft in 2000. Redd played for the Milwaukee Bucks from 2000 to 2011 and was the team's leading scorer for much of that period. His spectacular three-point shooting ability and overall scoring prowess became his trademark. In his second year, he averaged over 21 points per game and led the league in free throw percentage.
