Throughout his professional career, Bibby proved to be an outstanding point guard, with an excellent shooting ability and a natural feel for the game. He played for several franchises, including the Sacramento Kings, Atlanta Hawks, Miami Heat, and New York Knicks. During his time with the Kings from 2001 to 2008, he emerged as one of the most proficient point guards, helping his team to 42 wins by the end of his tenure. Bibby's clutch performances served as a turning point for the franchise, where he ranked as the Kings' all-time leader in made 3-pointers and was known for helping turn Sacramento into a Western Conference contender.

After playing for 14 seasons in the NBA, Bibby retired in 2012 with career averages of 14.7 points, 5.5 assists, and 3.1 rebounds per game. In recognition of his outstanding skills, the University of Arizona retired his No. 10 jersey in 2002, and he was inducted into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame in 2018. Bibby is well respected in the basketball community for his leadership, perseverance, and dedication to the sport, which played an instrumental role in his success throughout his career.
