D.D. Lewis was an American football linebacker born in August 1945, in Knoxville, Tennessee. He played for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL) from 1968 to 1981, and he was a vital player during the Cowboys' successful years in the 1970s. Lewis was drafted in the 10th round of the 1968 NFL draft, and he proved to be an exceptional athlete during this time.
