Anne Rice Autographs

Anne Rice was born in New Orleans in 1941 and grew up in an environment of art, music and liberal opinions. In her beginnings as a writer, she wrote about sadomasochistic and erotic relationships under the pseudonym Anne Rampling. She gained worldwide fame with her novel Interview with a Vampire, which has been adapted to the big screen and made her famous. Anne's career took off, and her "Vampire Chronicles" series became a phenomenon, making her a celebrity author in the horror genre.
Anne's career was punctuated by several tragedies, including the death of her daughter, Michelle, from leukemia in 1972. Following the death, the writer turned away from her Gothic and horror fictions to focus on Christian themes. Nevertheless, she continued to have enormous literary success with her novels in other genres, albeit on a smaller scale. Recently, with the release of Blood Communion, the 13th novel in her popular Vampire Chronicles series, Anne expressed that she hoped to bring her earlier literary style back to her stories.
Throughout her career, Anne Rice has had enough time to try new things and has always been productive, releasing several books that deal with supernatural and erotic themes. Her line of fiction books has been so well-received that they're taught in literature courses worldwide. She is beloved by gothic and horror fans everywhere and is considered one of the most talked-about authors of the last century. Her unique take on vampires, witches and other supernatural creatures have cemented her reputation as one of the greats in fantasy fiction.
