Andre Rison was born in Flint, Michigan in 1967. He grew up playing football, basketball, and baseball, but eventually focused on football in high school. He went on to play college football at Michigan State University, where he became a standout wide receiver. In 1989, he was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the first round of the NFL Draft. Rison played for several other teams over the course of his career, including the Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars, Green Bay Packers, and Oakland Raiders, among others. He retired from the NFL in 2000 with over 10,000 career receiving yards and 84 touchdowns.
