Brandon McManus is a professional American football player who currently plays as a placekicker for the Denver Broncos in the National Football League (NFL). Born on July 25, 1991, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he has proven to be one of the most reliable kickers in the league, having played for several teams since his first year in professional football.
After graduating from North Penn High School in Pennsylvania, McManus attended Temple University, where he played football for the school's team. He was part of the Owls team that won the 2011 New Mexico Bowl, finishing his college career with a total of 338 points, which made him the third-highest scorer in the team's history.
McManus entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2013, signing with the Indianapolis Colts, but was waived before the start of the regular season. He later played for the New York Giants, and the Denver Broncos, where he established himself as one of the most accurate kickers in the NFL, with an 85.9% success rate for field goals. He has been a vital member of the Broncos team, helping them win the Super Bowl in 2015 and earning recognition as an alternate for the Pro Bowl in the same year.
