Cam Newton Autographs
Cam Newton is a former American football quarterback who played for the Carolina Panthers and the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on May 11, 1989. Newton attended Westlake High School where he was a highly-rated quarterback, earning scholarship offers from several colleges. He eventually committed to the University of Florida, but transferred to Blinn College in Texas after getting into a legal dispute with the university.
At Blinn College, Newton led his team to win the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Football Championship in 2009. He then transferred to Auburn University in Alabama where he played for the Auburn Tigers for one season. Newton had a remarkable season in 2010, where he won the Heisman Trophy, the Walter Camp Award, and helped lead Auburn to a National Championship. In 2011, Newton declared for the NFL Draft and was selected by the Carolina Panthers as the first overall pick.
Throughout his NFL career, Cam Newton played for the Panthers from 2011 to 2019, and then signed with the New England Patriots in 2020. Newton had a successful stint with the Panthers, where he set numerous records, won the NFL Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award in 2015, and led the team to Super Bowl 50 in 2016. Newton's style of play was often described as "explosive" and "unpredictable", as he was known for his ability to run, pass, and score touchdowns himself. Despite various injuries, Newton remained an instrumental player for the Panthers and later for the Patriots, where he continues to showcase his skills as a quarterback.
