Despite her success in the entertainment industry, Fisher battled addiction and mental health issues throughout her life. However, she turned her struggles into a way of helping others, becoming an outspoken advocate for mental health awareness. Fisher passed away in 2016 at the age of 60, leaving behind a legacy as a talented and trailblazing actress, as well as a writer and advocate for mental health.
